New 'Sandia Cooler' Spinning Heatsink Technology On Gizmodo

"The Sandia Cooler was developed by the Sandia National Labs who do enough research to know a thing or two about how to effectively cool a computer. The most interesting aspect of the cooler is that it doesn’t attach directly to the CPU using thermal paste — which isn’t possible given it’s always spinning. Instead, it sits a mere thousandth of an inch above the processor, which creates what’s called an air bearing that’s actually just as efficient at transmitting heat."

Andrew Liszewski - Gizmodo

At Mittoni, we believe we know a thing or two about CPU coolers & thermal technologies for computing in general. However, I haven't seen anything like this before!

The Flight Simulation Endeavor - SimHQ Interview Rise of Flight's Jason Williams of 777 Studios & Albert Zhiltsov

"It has been three years since virtual pilots were first able to take to the Sky's in Rise of Flight. From a slightly troubled release, Rise of Flight has grown into what is universally recognized as one of the greatest flight simulators ever created — repeatedly setting new precedents for simulation design and being irresistible to players.

To celebrate this occasion Jason Williams of 777 Studios and Albert Zhiltsov took some time to give us a fascinating interview. I think I speak for everyone in the community when I express our appreciation for the depth, eloquence and quality of answers — as well as for the time set aside to share knowledge with us. Both personally, and on behalf of SimHQ, I'd like to express my pleasure at being able to help bring this out."

Thermaltake Armor Revo Snow Edition Chassis Review On ZR-Zone

"Aesthetics may be a subjective matter but the unique design and theme of the Armor Revo Snow Edition is perhaps the major selling point of this case. With its high contrast black and white theme and the futuristic design, the Armor Revo Snow Edition is definitely a unique product like no other. Enthusiasts who are tired of the black and silver cases (and perhaps Apple lovers too) will certainly enjoy the different appearance of this case."

SimHQ Review New WWII Game Iron Front: Liberation 1944

"Iron Front: Liberation 1944 is a solid package based on the long running and well supported Arma engine. The content speaks of a close attention to detail and quality, throughout. It includes a base of single player and multiplayer missions that provide a decent start, and the well known Arma 2 style mission editor for quality third party mission options. Iron Front's unique tank combat experience has been fun so far, and a high point of my multiplayer experiences. Those looking for some World War II based infantry and armor gameplay can find a lot to enjoy in this product."

Noctua NH-L12 Low Profile CPU Cooler Reviewed By BigBruin

"The noise production of this cooler is extremely impressive. It was tested with just the top 120mm fan installed, and whether it had the L.N.A. (low noise adapter) installed or not, it was just about silent. As the latest addition to a media center computer in my home, I can now confidently describe the system as silent and not just low noise. With the case's side panel in place, you can not hear the system from more than a couple feet away and multimedia enjoyment is now never interrupted by the sound of spinning fans."

G.Skill F3-14900CL9Q-16GBZL RAM Review On HardcoreWear

"There is really nothing to complain about with the G.Skill Ripjaws Z 1866 MHz 16GB kit... The kicker for most people is that it is one of the cheaper 1866 MHz 16GB kits out there. The combination of low price, low latency, and low voltage makes this an easy-to-recommend 16GB kit, whether you are using quad channel or not."

Noctua NH-L12 Low Profile CPU Cooler On Bjorn3D

"If we consider the versatility, wide range of CPU support, and the 5 year warranty, we feel that it would be a good investment with the NH-L12. Non-overclockers should not have any issue with just the single 92nm fan and light overclockers can certainly take the advantage of the second fan for extra performance boost. No matter which configuration you use, you certainly would enjoy a whispering quiet PC."

HardwareHeaven's Guide To Immersive Multi Screen Gaming

"Overall though it is the immersion that multi-screen gaming brings to our experience which most warrants the outlay of cash. Although we don't necessarily look direct to the side screens having them in our field of vision draws us into the gaming world then, more often than not, it offers the ability to catch enemy movements we would normally have missed out of the corner of our eye."

Thermaltake Level 10 GTS Mid Tower Chassis Review On eTeknix

"With the amount of extra slots for installing additional cooling solutions and extra fans the airflow in this case is superb, even with just the standard fans installed there is plenty of airflow, again helped by the generous cable management keeping everything neatly out of the way.

The build process on this case was an absolute breeze, because of its tool-free design, ample space, cable management and rear cutaway from the CPU cooler, I was able to get everything looking smart in record time, with the extra addition of the quick release drive bays making it possible to perform a very quick upgrade and change to your system and all this adds up as a major plus, this chassis is very user friendly when it comes to installations."

Thrustmaster T500 RS Racing Kit Reviewed By VirtualR

"I´ve reviewed quite a lot of wheels and I´ve never instantly clicked with a new product as I did with the T500 RS. Usually, it takes me a bit of time to get up to speed with a new wheel but the T500 RS gave me instant confidence thanks to the great force feedback and the overall amazing feel provided when driving... Thrustmaster has put together a wheel that can compete even with professional wheels from niche-manufacturers that often sell for more than three times the price."

Thrustmaster T500 RS Racing Kit Reviewed By SimHQ

"Thrustmaster has provided the sim racing community with a truly top-tier controller for carving up the virtual track. Although large and heavy — and with a heavy price tag — the wheel sets a new standard for force feedback and rotation in both quality and quantity. The pedal base has all the customizable options you'd expect on a high-end product and shows that Thrustmaster didn't skimp on this oft-neglected, yet critical component of a sim racing controller. The button layout, while very PS3-centric, is also quite well laid out for any sim racing application. The use of Hall Effect sensors gives consumers a product with a high degree of accuracy, reliability and durability."

"trying on a Thrustmaster product for the first time, I was extremely impressed with the HOTAS Warthog. The solid feel and life-like button and toggle throw forces lend an air of precision and authority that other controllers just can’t match. G.Skill's F3-2133C9Q-16GAB Kit Impresses @ Vortez!

"The price of this 2133MHz kit matches some other premium branded 1866MHz kits so it really should be a 'no brainer' which kit to go for. G.SKILL RMA support is excellent. They also offer a lifetime warranty. The ARES kit is low profile too which is so important for anyone air cooling with a large heatsink on an X79 platform due to the DRAM layout. In short, G.SKILL offer some of the fastest memory kits available for both X79 and Z77 foundations"

Often Imitated But Never Duplicated - Introducing Fluid XP+ Coolants For Liquid Cooled Systems!

Fluid XP+ coolant, the only documented scientifically proven water substitute for liquid cooled computers. Often imitated but never duplicated, Fluid XP+ pride themselves in having the highest standards for all their coolants & cleaners. Fluid XP+ have been making coolants for industry since 2003 and offer coolants for every budget and need. Simply put, no one makes a product that performs better and is tested by several independent bodies for non conductivity and safety for the computer, people and the environment.

Let's see what reviewers have to say about Fluid XP+:

"If you're thinking of venturing into the water cooling scene for the first time but are worried about the risks involved, then Fluid XP+ could well be the answer to your problems. As the video shows, powered components submerged in Fluid XP+ are fully capable of working again after being given time to dry. Protection that you wouldn't normally get with de-ionised water or other conductive solutions.

In addition to this, Fluid XP+ also has very similar thermal performance to untreated water, making it a great candidate for those of us who want the improved temperatures associated with plain water but without the algae and corrosion."

James Napier - Overclock3d - Read more.

"In my opinion, the selling point on this stuff is the safety. Everything added to FluidXP is approved by the FDA as safe food based ingredients. You can spill a little of this on the floor and not worry about your cat licking it and dying."

Paul - ClubOC - Read more.

"While doing an overnight leak check on a new beta water block, the water block developed a leak and nearly drained the entire system. Thankfully, the system still had enough Fluid XP circulating to keep the system from burning up, but what was amazing was the entire motherboard and CPU was soaked in Fluid XP, yet kept operating as if nothing was wrong. If this had been ordinary tap water, this test system would have been destroyed. Seeing is believing and I definitely believe in Fluid XP!"

Thermaltake Overseer RX-I Chassis Review On Neoseeker

"This latest rendition of Thermaltake's full-tower series has proven itself to be a solid platform for any enthusiast's build. With plenty of room to fit hardware and lots cooling power, the Overseer will handle your gaming component storage needs for years to come.

Though I have often been left disappointed with large diameter case fans, the ones that were included with the Overseer are quite good and having two more only further improves the performance. I was also quite fond of the hot-swap SATA port mounted on top, as this allows for quick data storage and/or data-checking without having to open up the side panel and destroying all the feng-shui you put into the cable management."

G.Skill's F3-2400C10D-8GTX Reviewed By OverclockersClub

"What makes the Trident X modules different is the use of the new Trident series heat spreaders that feature removable cooling fins — something seen on Corsair's Dominator line-up. This feature is aimed right at the enthusiast sector. By removing the cooling fins, the end user has the ability to use a variety of cooling solutions for some extreme-cooled memory overclocking. When the fins are removed, there is a flat surface that can be used to set an LN2 pot or even a custom liquid cooling solution on the main heat shield with the end goal of keeping the modules cool for improvements in clock speed. The large removable fins provide plenty of cooling potential when used as delivered, with an airstream over the modules from the CPU cooling solution or even the chassis fans."

Thermaltake Armor Revo Snow Edition Chassis Review On OverclockersClub

"The most interesting aspect of the Revo is that it is an extremely successful sum of its parts. The inside of the Armor Revo is not revolutionary, but the selection of different parts, how they are constructed, and assembled in one case, makes this a very interesting and enjoyable enclosure to work with. There was obviously much thought put into the ergonomics of this case. It shows up in the smooth feel of things that are meant to lock and unlock, plug in and unplug. With three 200 mm fans doing the cooling, the case is also near silent. The loudest fan included in the case tops out at 16 dBA – I think anyone who has ever listened to more than two AC/DC songs probably has ringing in their ears that exceeds that."

Serious Sim Racing With SimHQ: The iRacing Indy 500

I had to literally crawl out of my Obutto Gaming Cockpit, and I can’t imagine how professional drivers do these every weekend."

Noctua's NH-L12 Low Profile Multi Socket CPU Cooler On Pro-Clockers

"The NH-L12 is the perfect cooler for those what are working within tight boundaries. Or even for those that want a quiet cooling solution. With each cooler that Noctua brings to market they have a genre of users they aim that cooler at. It isn’t about producing as many models of coolers as they can and bombard the market with several coolers with the same performance just with a twist to the design. The people that fall within the types just mentioned will love the fact they have someone looking at for them."
