NiKKtech Examine SteelSeries Apex M500 Keyboard

"the Apex M500 by SteelSeries is a no-thrills mechanical keyboard so it doesnt feature a strange design and it lacks dedicated macro/media keys, USB ports and RGB key illumination. Because of that some people may call it boring (just like they did the 6Gv2) but personally I think that largely due to its size and simple design it will fit a lot easier on most desktops (gamers, enthusiasts and professionals alike) than many of the newest models in the market. Honestly Ive never cared much about RGB key illumination, many different illumination modes, dedicated macro keys and USB ports what I care most is quality/durability and the Apex M500 excels at that."

SteelSeries Arctis 5 Headset Review By LanOC

"In my time with the Arctis 5, Ive been extremely happy with the headset. SteelSeries managed to take the suspension headband that I love about the Siberia series, improve it, and combine it with the best of the H series. This along with having a lighter fit makes the Arctis 5 comfortable over extended periods of time. The new drivers and enclosed earcups also translated to improved audio performance in my testing."

Ocaholic Review Steelseries Arctis 5 Headset

"The Steelseries Arctis 5 gaming headset is a good product. The build quality as well as the materials used are impeccable and excatly on the level we expected from Steelseries. The comfort is very important with gaming headsets and this one is able to excel in that matter. The soft, memory foam cushions fit perfectly and you will never experience pressure points. The perception of audio is certainly a matter of subjectivity but, in our opinion, the sound is well balanced."

eTeknix Impressed With Aerocool DS230 Mid Tower

"Aerocool has done a fantastic job with the DS230. It s one of those chassis that hasn t really done much in the way of innovation, but everything it has got has been done really well. The obvious major standout feature of the chassis is the lighting, which is really cool and it s nice to see a focus on external lighting effects for a change too. Some may see it as a bit of a gimmick, but it s a damn good one and really adds a nice level of customisation you often don t find on chassis with no side panel windows."

G.Skill Ripjaws KM780 RGB Keyboard Review By TechPowerUp

"It isn't often I get a keyboard through the door with such a complete package as what the G.Skill Ripjaws KM780 has on offer. Not only do we get all the accessories we would like, such as a wrist rest, a keycap puller, and some replacement keys, but we also get a feature-rich board, both physically and through the software. The keyboard is a pleasure to use - it is comfortable whilst still having a very sturdy feel to it and the aluminum top plate and metal detail around its edges really do convey that feeling of quality."

SilverStone Primera PM01 Chassis Review By APH Networks

"The front fans are optimized for air intake, and three 140mm fans should draw quite a lot of air in. The PM01 is actually one of the best cases for cooling performance in the market this year. One of my biggest considerations for fans is the noise they make. This can be reduced by adjusting their speed. The front fans created the most amount of noise. On a scale from one to ten, where one is silent and ten is a jet taking off, the front fans would be 3.5/10 when the computer is idling. When the computer was under load, the fans would not speed up much when controlled by my motherboard, and so they went up to 4.0/10 in my personal opinion. The rear exhaust fan is quieter and during idle is at 3.0/10, and under load 3.5/10."

ASUS Graphics Card Cooling A Thing Of Beauty Writes eTeknix

"ASUS cooling solution is a thing is beauty and revolves around 5 ridiculously thick heat-pipes, a dense aluminium fin array and three patented Wing-Blade fans. These fans offer a magnificent noise to performance ratio without impacting on thermal efficiency. Throughout the testing procedure, the graphics card remained extremely quiet under load and it was difficult to detect any volume increases. This is due to the fans working independently and employing a gentle curve. Of course, the fans switch off in idle usage scenarios which contribute to a silent desktop experience. Overall, the graphics cards noise levels are surprisingly low for a triple fan configuration."

TechPowerUp: DeepCool Genome Chassis Is Both Harmonious & Organic

"From a case perspective, the Genome delivers with solid, but somewhat simple functionality. Luckily, that is no issue thanks to the details in its design, which really make up for it as both the shroud and angled dividing wall within the chassis complement the enclosure's overall look. The result is a good-looking, functional, and adequately priced chassis with a potent cooling solution build right in - a combination many have tried but have never been able to really pull off in the same harmonious and organic fashion as Deepcool has with the Gamer Storm Genome."

TweakTown - SilverStone Hits Home Run With Primera PM01 Chassis

"For a chassis that is built this solid, is as feature rich as this is, and when it brings an individual style and appeal, those are the cases we tend to go for. The Primera PM01, whether you go for the black chassis and red LEDs, or if you opt for this one, white with blue LEDs, you are getting one hell of a case. SilverStone moves from top tier pricing, but still delivers top level craftsmanship and everything we have some to expect from them in this design. Thrustmaster 599XX EVO 30 Alcantara Edition Wheel Upgrade Review By PC Perspective - Money Well Spent!

SilverStone Redline RL05 Chassis On APH Networks

"The case is solidly built with its steel construction, and it even comes with a side window. The cable management options and power supply cover are great additions to have a clean final appearance. There are enough cable management holes to route the cables around the case, and even a 5.25" drive bay, which is more based on your personal preference, but I think the flexibility is welcome, especially considering it was implemented in an unobtrusive way. The Redline RL05 also provides plenty of cooling options, from water cooling to just big air coolers."

TechSpot Report On Nvidia GTX1080 In SLI - MASSIVE GAINS!

"Though we mostly focused on games that support Nvidias multi-GPU technology, these also happen to be some of the most popular PC games released as of late. On average SLI enabled 63% more performance or 71% if we ignore Ashes of the Singularity. We'd call that a solid score for SLI scaling.

Granted, this may not convince many to spend another $600+ on a second GPU but in a good number of scenarios at 4K, it pushed performance from playable to smooth-as-silk."

APH Networks Review SteelSeries Apex M500 Keyboard

"What really stood out to me, however, was it was much quieter than other keyboards equipped with Cherry MX Red switches. Its actuation profile is still the same, but I think this can be attributed by its solid steel backplate design. TweakTown Writes ASUS STRIX X99 GAMING Motherboard... Worth Selling Your Soul For!

"We have seen many new "X99 Refresh" motherboards make their way to the market in the past month, and it's obvious that the two prevailing trends are RGB LEDs and new features such as 32Gb/s U.2/M.2. The STRIX X99 GAMING does an excellent job of meeting the aesthetic needs of almost all users. I am reminded of my early years (over ten years ago) when I would have given anything for one of DFI's LanParty motherboards with the colorful slots, and if RGBs were included, I would have sold my soul to procure the motherboard."

Creative Sound BlasterX H7 Headset On MadShrimps

"Despite the fact that we are dealing with a steel reinforced headband, brushed aluminum and large cups which do hold 50mm drivers that should add some weight, the Sound BlasterX H7 headset remains quite light, having about 364g. By including a 24-bit/96kHz USB DAC, Creative is basically offering us a 2-in-1 product, but can be only used when the headset is connected via USB. TechPowerUp Review ASUS STRIX-GTX1080-O8G-GAMING Graphics Card

"Out of the box, the card comes overclocked to a base clock of 1785 MHz versus the 1607 MHz on the reference design. This translates into an average clock of 1998 MHz versus the 1783 MHz on NVIDIA's reference design after Boost 3.0 is applied, and it looks as though ASUS's card is, thus, the highest clocked card out of the first round of custom-board designs, achieving 8% additional performance when averaged over our benchmark suite. This makes the card 33% faster than the GTX 1070 reference and 47% faster than GTX 970 SLI! AMD's fastest, the Fury X, is out of the game, almost 50% slower."

Even though its external body is plastic, the Apex M500 does not feel cheap at all"

TweakTown - ASUS STRIX-GTX980-DC2OC-4GD5 Provides Solid FPS... Silently

"The DirectCU II cooler with its 0dB technology is something that's going to be appreciated by users wanting a quieter system. While the fans refraining from spinning at idle isn't anything new. What makes the STRIX card stand out is the fact that the fans also continue to not spin under low load environments. This means that if you're playing something a bit older, or just not all that intensive, the card continues to be silent. Combined with the right cooler and case, you could be gaming with solid FPS while your PC is nearly silent."

ASUS STRIX GTX 980 Ti On Overclockers

"NVIDIA GTX 980 Ti graphics cards in general are top notch performers, power efficient, and bring a gaming experience never before seen. With the ASUS STRIX GTX 980 Ti, you get the added bonus of a stout factory applied overclock, the DirectCU III cooler, a pre-installed backplate, and a good supporting software package. Now days, aesthetics play a big role when choosing a PC component, and the STRIX GTX 980 Ti does a nice job with that as well. From the pulsating STRIX emblem to the backplate and red GPU support bracket, it has just the right amount of bling without being over done."

Compared to the GTX 980 Ti reference, we see an impressive 16% performance improvement at 4K, which makes it 12% faster than the Titan X and 16% faster than AMD's Radeon Fury X."

Noctua NH-C14S Cooler Review On TechPowerUp

"Noctua's NH-C14S is definitely impressive since it offers performance almost on par with the NH-D15S, but with better memory clearance. It also has the added bonus of cooling surrounding motherboard components. Like all Noctua coolers, it's very quiet, coming in at just 43 dBA with the fan at maximum RPM. Did I mention that it offers exceptional clearance? Not just for memory since its offset design means it does not interfere with the motherboard's first expansion slot. This makes the NH-C14S a suitable candidate for many mini-ITX and micro-ATX systems, especially with its maximum height of 115 mm in low-profile mode. As expected, build quality is top notch, and installing the NH-C14S is a breeze with Noctua's tried and tested SecuFirm 2 mounting system. Add in the solid packaging, a good accessories bundle, and an awesome warranty, and you end up with a very attractive product."

Modders Inc - Silverstone Tundra TD02-E Looks Quite Beautiful

"The Silverstone Tundra TD02-E stands out in a sea of similar 240mm AIO solutions dominated mostly by a single OEM by providing a respectable alternative at an affordable price. Currently available on Amazon for only $89.99, it is a price that you would not have guessed just by looking at the TD02-Es build quality. While most AIOs use mostly plastic mounting parts, the Silverstone TD02-E uses mostly metal parts, withstanding multiple re-installs easily and provides peace of mind. The only plastic parts are not load bearing and are plastic to insulate the metal parts from the motherboard PCB. The solid aluminum pump block looks quite beautiful as well, aided with an acrylic top that lights up and even the contact base is free of any screws. Such attention to detail should not go unnoticed."

G.Skill F4-3200C16D-32GVK - High Speed DDR4 Memory A Clear Benefit Writes TechPowerUp

"Im personally what would be classified as a 'power user'. I do make use of 20-24 GB of memory on a daily basis with AutoCAD and rendering work on my PCs, which makes these sticks great for my own personal usage scenarios. Taking a look at such new CPU-focused tests as Cinebench, SuperPi, and wPrime, there is a clear benefit to high-speed, high-density RAM as compared to 'reference' JEDEC 2133 MHz sticks or, say, the Crucial sticks I reviewed a short while ago. I am super happy that G.Skill has taken the time to test and release such RAM as these F4-3200C16D-32GVK sticks. Rendering 4K content is noticeably faster with these sticks in my system, at even 'stock' CPU speeds. Theres no need for me to mention my personal preference for G.Skill."

ASUS Unplugged GTX950-2G Graphics Card On Vortez

"The differential between this graphics card and other GTX 950s is the lack of any PCI express power connector. This distinguishing feature allows those with an aging computer system to still reap the benefits of a capable discreet graphics solution. The omission of a PCI express power connector and the significantly low power consumption of just 75W also means that system builders who are hitting the absolutely maximum values on their PSU can enjoy such graphics card too, because upgrading this type of product in such a scenario could mean a PSU upgrade is also mandatory - therefore GTX950-2G will alleviate a number of potential upgrade grievances."

Overclockers Club Review Noctua NH-C14S CPU Cooler

"What does the NH-C14S bring to the table? It gets the job done with a single, more powerful fan, and the new offset of the fin stack provides clearance for the first PCIe slot on your motherboard. The C-type design gives you a much lower profile that lets you build your system in most HTPC-style cases. You still get the options of using either Low Profile mode or High Clearance mode. And of course, all that air the NF-A14 moves through the cooler gets directed down across the RAM modules, VRM, and other motherboard components. That amounts to extra cooling for free. The SecuFirm2 mounting system is just the greatest thing. Installing a cooler really can't be much easier. It really needs to be an industry standard in my opinion."

Creative Sound BlasterX H7 Headset On Hardware Heaven

"Back when we reviewed the H5 we noted that as far as build quality and design were concerned it was a very impressive headset. As the H7 uses essentially the same design, the same hold true here. Every part of the device feels quality and we noted no issues with assembly. There is loads of flex in the headband and more than enough movement in the tilt of the cups. It is also a lightweight headset which remains comfortable over time. As before the removable mic is a bonus which makes the H7 ideal for listening to music on the move, as we don’t have a massive mic boom pointing out of our head. TweakTown Review BitFenix Pandora ATX Chassis

"We like the simple layout without a mass of drive bays to take up the front of the chassis and destroy air flow like so many other designs do. We still like the shape, and elegance this chassis delivers. The ICON display offers a ton of potential to customize it to near anything you can think of, and the window on the left offers a superb view of everything you install, except for a few storage drives and the PSU. We also like the PSU cover, as most do, but adding room for water cooling at the front, allowing wiring to pass through it, and throwing in a pump bracket just sweetens the pot a bit. Also, with only two fans blowing through this chassis, the most we could hear from it was 26dB of noise with both fans running at full speed."

TechPowerUp Praise Noctuas NH-D15S Cooler - Ideal For mITX & mATX Chassis!

"In my own opinion, the NH-D15S is the better cooler when compared to the NH-D15. The better expansion-slot clearance allows it to fit into far more builds, which gives it a wider appeal. That and the fact that users can still slap a second fan on for maximum performance without issue certainly doesn't hurt either. That second fan doesn't really matter on mainstream systems, but it would prove a bit more useful with AMD or Intel HEDT platforms. Noctua has definitely set a new bar in terms of what one can expect from monstrous heatsinks in that the NH-D15S is compatible with many mini-ITX and micro-ATX systems where the first expansion slot is PCIe x16."
