Taiwan-based power supply makers raise prices by 10%

digitimes.com is reporting "With continuous shortage of upstream materials and strong demand from system makers, Taiwan-based power supply companies have already hiked prices or are planning to do so, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.

Delta Electronics CEO Yancey Hai was cited as confirming that the company has already raised prices to transfer some increased cost to customers. Since capacity remains tight, system makers are "cutting in front of waiting lines" with rush orders, he added."
