This top shelf WWI era simulator is FREE TO PLAY as mentioned earlier, you can download the game which includes an aircraft for both sides of the conflict. You can then choose to purchase additional aircraft to taste from the online shop - but the game is completely playable with just the included free aircraft, in both multi and single player modes....
That might just leave you with the funds to pick up a quality flight controller and a TrackIR5 - You'll want both to get the best from this amazing sim!
